Aide follows Dingman to Iowa

Chris Gaskill will follow head volleyball coach Sharon Dingman to Iowa City from Normal, Ill.
Gaskill was announced as part of Dingman's coaching staff on Monday; she joins Dingman at Iowa after being an assistant under the head coach last season at Illinois State.
"I am ecstatic to be at the University of Iowa and in the Big Ten conference," Gaskill said in a release. "This is a great opportunity, and I am thankful to the administration for letting me continue to work with Sharon. I can't wait to help build a successful Iowa volleyball program."
In his one season under Dingman with the Redbirds, Gaskill was part of a program that reached the Missouri Valley title game and earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament.
"I am excited to have Chris join the Hawkeye volleyball program," Dingman said. "He has proven he can recruit great athletes, and his competitive drive will be instrumental to us achieving the goals we have established for the program."
Before his year in Normal, Gaskill served as an assistant coach from 2003-06 at Appalachian State.
